Tulsa River Parks
Tulsa River Parks is a premier space of outdoor experiences along the banks of the Arkansas River. With 26 miles of asphalt-surfaced trails weaving past gathering areas, playgrounds, disc golf, fountains, and sculptures, this Tulsa treasure is a quick walk from Brut.
Midland Valley Trail
The Midland Valley Trail cuts more than 3 miles across neighborhoods adjacent to downtown Tulsa on an abandoned Midland Valley Railroad corridor. Highlights along the trail include Maple Park and Centennial Park, the latter of which features a pond with an encircling walking trail.
Gathering Place
Tulsa's world-class 66-acre park opened in 2018 through nearly a half-billion dollars in private funding. Gathering Place is filled with sports courts, walking trails, playgrounds, art installations, dining, a coffee shop, and so much more.
Woodward Park
Established in 1929, Woodward Park is a horticulture dream with its multiple specialty gardens. These include the Tulsa Garden Center, the Tulsa Rose Garden, the Linnaeus Teaching Gardens, a stunning conservatory, and much more.
Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area
Situated on the other side of the Arkansas River, Turkey Mountain is loved by locals. This is a great place to spend a morning on its 45 miles of hiking, mountain biking, and running trails. Trails stay open until 11:00 pm.
Wild Fork
Nestled in the middle of historic Utica Square, Wild Fork is a gorgeous restaurant with one of Tulsa’s most beautiful patios. Start your day with a perfectly brewed coffee and one of their rotating omelets surrounded by trees, flowers, and fountains.
Inheritance Juicery
Inheritance Juicery recently opened a downtown location and we couldn't love it more! You’ll be stunned walking into their space, which is full of plant life and natural light. Try a cold-pressed juice with one of their instaworthy smoothie bowls.
Chimera Cafe
Chimera is a Tulsa gem, offering an expansive coffee menu (with their own roasts) and all-day breakfast tacos. Try the Disappearer tacos or the Super Veggie Wrap. You will thank us.
Radish
Radish is a casual Mediterranean cafe right around the corner from Brut Hotel. This is a great place to snag a mezze salad, a classic lamb gyro, or a 1/2 rotisserie chicken.
BurnCo Barbeque
BurnCo is a Tulsa staple just around the corner from Brut Hotel. These guys are seasoned pros, cooking on Hasty Bake and offering some of the best ribs, fattys, and house-made sausage in town. Get there early for the best selection.
Nola’s Creole & Cocktails
When you walk into Nola’s, you feel like you’ve discovered the perfect low-lit Cajun speakeasy. And once you try the food, you’ll want to become a regular. Start off with the deviled eggs and boudin, then try their famous voodoo chicken.
Que Gusto
Que Gusto offers gourmet Ecuadorian food in a casual café environment in the middle of the nearby Arts District. Try their addicting yucca bread, the roasted pork sandwich, or the coripán sandwich. They have some great gluten-free options too!
FarmBar
FarmBar is a new neighbor to Brut Hotel, offering a 10-course tasting menu with local ingredients. Be sure to book ahead of time. It’s worth every penny.
Dalesandro’s Italian Cuisine
Dalesandro's is a longtime Tulsa tradition, a family-owned business that has stood the test of time. Their patio is a perfect place to enjoy their famous swordfish piccata with a glass of Italian wine. And it's only a short walk away!
TXMZ
TXMZ (Tacos x Mezcal) is a neighborhood favorite, offering traditional Nayarit, Mexico street food with a fun twist. TXMZ has one of the best mezcal offerings in the city with a phenomenally crafted cocktail menu.

Boasting one of the best views of the downtown skyline, Welltown’s rooftop patio is a fun place to make friends or go with friends. Their winter igloos are not to be missed as well!

Hodges Bend Hodges Bend is an upscale Tulsa institution tucked in the edge of East Village. Crafted as both a full-service bar and a coffee bar, bartenders and baristas create phenomenal originals and classics to keep you going all day and into the night.
DoubleShot Coffee Co
DoubleShot is found within a reconstructed 170-year-old wooden barn. The space is thoughtful and expansive, with plenty of nooks and private areas for business coffees or catch-ups with friends. DoubleShot is obsessed with excellence and it shows.

For a different coffee experience, swing by Notion’s underground coffee bar. This instaworthy space is filled with street murals and cozy seating, perfect for the early morning start or afternoon recharge.

Right around the corner from Brut Hotel, The Shrine is a great dive bar that boasts some popular acts in its small space. Get there when the doors open to secure a seat, otherwise it's usually standing room only!
Cain’s Ballroom
Cain's Ballroom is a historic music venue and is known as the home of Bob Wills. Cain’s has hosted acts ranging from Bob Dylan to Snoop Dogg to the Sex Pistols. LA Times recently ranked Cain's as the 4th best venue for live music in America… we highly recommend a visit if you can add it to your trip.
The Colony
Established in 1958, The Colony is an intimate dive filled with questionable tales of its past: Leon Russell once owned the place, Eric Clapton passed out in the back dumpster, George Harrison poured shots up one night. What is true is that live music is played here every night of the week and locals love it.
Discovery Lab
Coming in late 2021, this new 50,000 square foot museum will include 20,000 square-feet of interactive exhibits and programming space. This includes areas know as The WorkShop, Science Lab, and Little Lab. Onsite will also be an education center, a merchandise shop, a café, and an amphitheater.
Woody Guthrie Center
Woody Guthrie's entire archive is stored here, preserving his legacy and life story. Known for songs like "This Land Is Your Land" and political statements like "This Machine Kills Fascists", Woody Guthrie is an American icon worth exploring.
Philbrook Museum of Art
Philbrook is a Tulsa destination you shouldn't miss. This historic and expansive museum was originally home to oilman Waite Phillips, who donated the property to the city in 1938. Since then it has become the home of a wealth of permanent and traveling art. Check out their calendar to find anything from burger nights in the gardens to projected on the lawn.
Greenwood Rising
Greenwood Rising commemorates the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre, which recently marked its 100th anniversary. The museum is a full and emotional experience, offering an immersive view into life in Greenwood and first hand accounts from survivors.
Cherry Street
Cherry Street is a fun, walkable area with tons of shopping, eats, and drinks. Snag a new outfit at Slade, grab a local gift at Jumpin Jackalope, or stock up on the weekend's cigars at Fogue & Bates.
Meadow Gold District
Nestled on historic Route 66, Meadow Gold is a fun area to leisurely shop local. Get some Route 66 memorabilia and your photo next to the 21-foot space cowboy at Buck Atom's Cosmic Curios, find rare vinyl at Josey Records, or browse the art deco gifts at Decopolis. Every spot is full of character and friendly folks.
Utica Square
Utica Square is an upscale, highly walkable shopping center that has been around since 1952. This is a great place to spend an entire morning or afternoon, browsing everything from Anthropologie to Madewell, Restoration Hardware to Gearhead Outfitters. Lots of great dining options here as well!
Tulsa Arts & Greenwood Districts
Tulsa Arts and Greenwood are neighboring districts and home to some of Tulsa’s best local shops. A few of our favorites are Ida Red, a gift shop filled with all things Tulsa; Magic City Books is an independent bookstore with a fantastic literature program; Silhouette is a rare sneaker and local fashion shop. There are much more worth checking out!
The Boxyard
The Boxyard is a multi-level hub of retail, food, and drink built by shipping containers. Many of its tenants are first-time businesses, selling everything from streetwear to women's fashion, wine to candy. This is a great place to do some casual shopping in one location, with food and drink options to add to the mix.
Antoinette Baking Co.
Antoinette's is a must-stop for anyone traveling through Tulsa. Although they have a wonderful food menu, Antoinette's is well known for their incredible desserts. A slice of one of their pies will instantly bring a smile to your face, while a box of their macarons or cookies will surely make you anyone's best friend.
